I enjoy being involved from beginning to end, balancing creative ideas with budgets, vendors and timelines, and bringing all the moving pieces together. Just as importantly, I like making sure everybody involved feels supported, heard and excited about the work we’re creating together.

Buying Supplier Management Production Quality Control

I looked after the soft textiles range, including cushions, bedding, blinds and sofas, working closely with suppliers such as HAY, Muuto and Ferm Living. I really liked the variety of the role and the relationships that came with it, often managing around 25–30 suppliers and manufacturers at any one time and following each product from the first sample through to delivery.

There was always a lot happening at once, from balancing stock and pricing to keeping an eye on production schedules and deadlines, but I loved bringing all those moving parts together and making sure everything felt considered and well looked after.

I enjoyed travelling to manufacturer sites to see the products being made, check quality in person and work through any production challenges alongside the teams on the ground.
